We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, fulfill orders, maintain appropriate business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Different types of information may be retained for different periods.

Because photography is a creative product that customers may wish to reorder in the future, we may retain photographs and associated session files as part of our studio archive for an extended period.

Performance of a Contract — Article 6(1)(b). We process information necessary to provide photography services, operate galleries, fulfill orders, deliver products, process transactions, and perform our agreements with you.

Legitimate Interests — Article 6(1)(f). We may process information when reasonably necessary for legitimate business interests, including operating and improving our business, protecting our systems, preventing fraud, maintaining records, communicating with customers, and establishing or defending legal claims, provided those interests do not override your applicable rights.

To exercise an applicable privacy right, contact Arevalo Portraits at [EMAIL ADDRESS].

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

16. RIGHT TO OBJECT UNDER THE GDPR
Where we process personal data based upon legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right, for reasons relating to your particular situation, to object to that processing.

If you object, we will cease the applicable processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights, and freedoms or the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

When you interact directly with a third-party service, that provider may independently collect and process information according to its own privacy policy and terms.

Arevalo Portraits does not control the independent privacy practices of third-party websites or services.

19. PROVIDING PERSONAL INFORMATION
You are generally not required to provide personal information merely to browse our website or publicly available portions of our services.

However, certain information is necessary for us to provide photography services, give you access to applicable galleries, process orders and payments, deliver photographs and products, and otherwise fulfill services you request.

If you choose not to provide information necessary for a requested service, we may be unable to provide that service.
